Standings

The league standings provide a snapshot of each team’s performance throughout the season. Teams are ranked based on the number of points they accumulate, typically awarded as follows: 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss.

The table displays key statistics for each team, including:

  • Position (Pos) – Current rank in the league.

  • Team – Name of the club.

  • Played (Pld) – Total number of matches played.

  • Wins (W) – Number of matches won.

  • Draws (D) – Number of matches drawn.

  • Losses (L) – Number of matches lost.

  • Goals For (GF) – Number of goals scored by the team.

  • Goals Against (GA) – Number of goals conceded.

  • Goal Difference (GD) – The difference between goals scored and conceded.

  • Points (Pts) – Total points accumulated.

The team with the most points is placed at the top. In the event of a tie on points, goal difference and goals scored are typically used as tiebreakers. The top teams may qualify for continental competitions, while the lowest-ranked teams may face relegation.
